Wow, I knew it had been awhile since I posted an update, but I didn’t realize it was THAT long ago…

There will be more info in following posts, but for now, next class, Rumba, starts on Sunday, November 1st, at St. Thomas Episcopal. 6PM for beginners, 7PM for intermediate. We’ve moved back to the 4-week classes, so $40 per person, $20 for students.

We have updated our email address as well as the domain for the site. To keep us from being confused with other groups, our email is now diamondballroom.de@google.com . Likewise, our site URL is now diamondballroomde.com . For anyone following us, following old links from other sites, and so on… No worries! The previous email account is set to forward stuff to the new account, and we’ll actually send class announcements and such from BOTH accounts at least for the rest of the year in the hopes that, for sensitive spam filters, the message from the old email address will alert you to check your spam folder for the message from the new email, and you can, hopefully, tell your mail program that the new email address is not, in fact, spam.

Likewise, the old URL will still work, but using the new domain makes things easier for…everything, actually.

Thanks to some people on the team with marketing backgrounds and such, we’re hoping to better manage communications and advertising. Please bear with me (us?) as we work to find that happy medium between communication and timely reminders versus spamming you every other day.

In the meantime, here’s the calendar for October…

Here is our (current) recruitment flyer, or, “Diamond Ballroom Team at a Glance”…

Obviously, I already need to update the website and email information there. Though I am also working on other flyers/handouts. I might also create something for business cards; as is, I have an app on my phone for digital business cards, and having some physical ones to hand out would be good too.

Last but not least, as seen on the calendar above, we’re having a social dance at Cecil College, Elkton Station next week on Friday, October 23rd!

More to come! Bear with us during our online renovations.
